因各地的(de)氣(qi)候、土壤與其它(ta)條(tiao)件的(de)不同,生境各異(yi),致使樹(shu)形(xing)高矮(ai)、葉背和(he)果(guo)殼上的(de)毛被、果(guo)的(de)成(cheng)熟期、尤以果(guo)的(de)大(da)小及其品(pin)質都有差(cha)異(yi),兼之,本種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的(de)栽培歷史悠久,在種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)植過程中(zhong),人們選出了適(shi)應當地的(de)優良(liang)(liang)(liang)品(pin)種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。吳耕民(min)(《栗棗柿栽培》農業出版社1964年)把(ba)栗樹(shu)分為華(hua)北與華(hua)中(zhong)兩個(ge)(ge)大(da)品(pin)種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)群(qun)。華(hua)北品(pin)種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)群(qun)又分為良(liang)(liang)(liang)鄉(xiang)小栗與華(hua)北魁栗兩小品(pin)種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)群(qun),約(yue)共有10個(ge)(ge)較優良(liang)(liang)(liang)的(de)品(pin)種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。華(hua)中(zhong)品(pin)種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)據資料分析,選出了約(yue)20個(ge)(ge)以上的(de)優良(liang)(liang)(liang)品(pin)種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。
我國板(ban)(ban)(ban)栗(li)品種(zhong)繁多(duo),據有關部門統計,地(di)方(fang)品種(zhong)達300多(duo)種(zhong)。按產(chan)區一般把板(ban)(ban)(ban)栗(li)分為北(bei)方(fang)板(ban)(ban)(ban)栗(li)和南方(fang)板(ban)(ban)(ban)栗(li)兩(liang)種(zhong)類型(xing),北(bei)方(fang)板(ban)(ban)(ban)栗(li)大多(duo)作(zuo)炒食(shi)用,南方(fang)板(ban)(ban)(ban)栗(li)則做菜用。
